Regent manager David Mansfield said: “Alexander O'Neal is an upbeat soul singer who has almost created the modern soul sound with his gospel singing technique.

“Equally capable of blasting out funky, up-tempo numbers or delivering tender ballads, 'Criticize' and 'Fake' remain his greatest moments this side of the pond.

“David Spikey is a double British Comedy Award winner, Bafta Nominee, and co-writer and star of hit tv show Phoenix Nights returning with a brand new live show.

“Spikey will be tackling the old adage laughter is the best medicine.

“The show will be packed full of jokes guaranteeing a great night out.”
