SURGEONS were operating on a motorcyclist today after he suffered serious leg injuries in a collision between a car and his bike at Foxhall.

SURGEONS were operating on a motorcyclist today after he suffered serious leg injuries in a collision between a car and his bike at Foxhall.
The crash happened at the junction of Dobbs Lane and Foxhall Road at about 9.20pm yesterday.
The rider of the bike, a 25-year-old man from Kesgrave, was taken to Ipswich Hospital by ambulance with what police described as serious but not life threatening leg injuries.
A police spokeswoman today said that she had spoken to staff at the hospital to see how the motorcyclist was and was told that he was being operated on.

She added that the full extent of his injuries would be known when he came out of theatre.
The exact circumstances of the accident are unclear and police would like to hear from anybody who witnessed the accident or who saw the Honda 400 motorbike or the Ford Fiesta leading up to the crash.
It is not thought that either driver had been drinking.
Today, motorists using the busy junction which connects Kesgrave to Foxhall, could see parts of the car and motorbike scattered in the road.
The driver of the Fiesta, a 39-year-old woman from Kesgrave, was not injured in the accident.
