A car was ablaze in Downing Close at 2.40am, and was reported as suspicious.
Another suspicious car blaze in the town happened in Bobbits Lane at 10pm yesterday.
Earlier yesterday, crews from Suffolk tackled a property blaze on the A143 where there were fears of an explosion.
A derelict two-storey house and outbuildings were on fire at around 7.30pm and it spread to nearby trees and hedges.
The fire service said there were gas cylinders nearby.
