Police activity in Kesgrave after immigrants were reportedly found in a truck
Police have detained a person following reports of an illegal immigrant being discovered on board a lorry in Kesgrave.
Officers were called to the Sinks Pit quarry site, in Main Road, Kesgrave, at about noon today. They arrived within five minutes of the call to find a person had been apprehended at the scene.
Suffolk Constabulary said one person had been taken to the nearest police station, where they would be held until the intervention of Border Force officers.
