POLICE were today called to a suspicious car fire in a residential road in Ipswich.

POLICE were today called to a suspicious car fire in a residential road in Ipswich.

Firefighters tackled the blaze in Gloster Road at around 2.40am using two water hose reels and foam.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the fire, which was put out at 3.12am, was being treated as suspicious.
