Craig “Lazie” Lynch, 28, who absconded from Hollesley Bay Prison near Woodbridge in September, is giving police details of his life on Facebook.
Lynch has developed a following of more than 7,500 people on the social networking site and one of them has created a T-shirt picturing him which is being sold on eBay.
The black shirt, which shows an image of Lynch sticking up his finger, boasts the logo “not so lazie” and is being sold for 14 dollars.
Angry internet users have also set up an online group calling for Lynch's capture.
Police said Lynch, who has links to Edgware, Middlesex, had been given a seven-year jail term after being convicted of aggravated burglary.
Officers said they were sure that the Craig Lynch featured on the Facebook page was the escaped prisoner.
