MOTORISTS on the A14 are facing tailbacks this evening following a crash on the eastbound carriageway at Nacton.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the stretch of road after a Seat Alhambra people carrier reportedly rolled “several times” before bursting in flames.
It is understood that none of the five or six people inside were seriously injured following the accident at around 4.22pm.
A police spokesman said it was “very lucky” nobody sustained more than cuts or scratches.
As a result of the accident a single lane of the carriageway was closed and traffic is currently backed up to Wherstead.
