IPSWICH: Drivers are being urged to avoid the A14 at Copdock after a crash between a car and a lorry caused substantial tailbacks.
IPSWICH: Drivers are being urged to avoid the A14 near Ipswich following two crashes.
A car and a lorry collided at 4.50pm this afternoon at the top of the Copdock interchange.
There are not thought to have been any injuries as a result of the collision.
There are also reports of two vehicles colliding on the road between Claydon and Needham Market at around 5.50pm.
One person was taken to hospital following the crash on the westbound carriageway.
A police spokesperson said: “There is heavy traffic on the road at this time and we expect this incident will cause delays.”
