CHAOS has struck the A12 after a lorry collided with a bridge.
PART of the A12 was blocked for more than an hour tonight after a lorry was in collision with a bridge.
The incident occurred on the London-bound carriageway at Langham in Essex at around 6.30pm.
Commuters endured delays after the police closed one lane in order to clear up debris and make the area safe.
A structural engineer was called to assess the safety of the bridge. The road was re-opened by 8pm.
