Take your teddy to work - to raise cash for Children in Need

Do you have a favourite cuddly companion, a beloved bear or a much-loved teddy?
As part of Children in Need, BBC Radio Suffolk is encouraging you to bring them into work as part of the third ‘Take your Teddy to Work Day’.
The Ipswich Star and EADT are getting behind the fundraising fun on Friday November 18, bringing in our childhood companions to join us in the newsroom.
BBC Radio Suffolk Breakfast presenter Mark Murphy said the day was fantastic fun, bringing a smile to everyone in the office.
“Mine is as old as I am and is called Brown Ted,” he said, “he has been with me right through my life.
“He wears the scars of a haircut I gave him, when he went through mum’s mangle and when Dinky our toy poodle got jealous so he had to have his arms sown back on.
“He is quite a character and I love him very much.”

He added: “Take your Teddy to Work Day is fantastic fun.
“Everyone is a bit sheepish when they turn up on the day and gradually the bears come out. Everyone has a favourite cuddly toy.
“It brings a great atmosphere to the office and a smile on Children in Need day.
“It’s a great way for your beloved teddy to see the light of day and see what you get up to when you leave home,” he added.
Those who fancy taking their teddy to work are asked to make a donation to Children in Need.
BBC Radio Suffolk is asking people to send in photos of themselves with their favourite teddy to put on their website and Facebook page.
