Takeaway brawl - 11 arrested

ELEVEN people were arrested on suspicion of wounding after a brawl broke out in a takeaway in Clacton.

A 27-year-old man from St Osyth was taken to Colchester General Hospital with a back injury, which Essex Police believed was caused by a bottle, and was later released after treatment.

POLICE are today continuing their investigations after 11 people were arrested on suspicion of wounding after a brawl broke out in the Bodrum takeaway in Clacton.

The fight happened at about 2.45am on Saturday. Suffolk police arrested six men and five women in Ipswich later that day. The 11 people – aged between 18 and 25 and from the Ipswich area – have been released on police bail. They are due to return to Clacton police station at varying dates in December.
