A creative nursing student at the University of Suffolk has taken inspiration from the Waterfront’s striking architecture and crafted her own realistic model of the Waterfront Building.
Kezi Mellen, 23, from Ipswich, was inspired from her surroundings at the University of Suffolk to emulate its centrepiece building, and craft the detailed replica as she starts her final year as a mental health nursing student.
She said: “I’m a Lego fan and I like the iconic architecture of the university so I thought I’d challenge myself to try and recreate it. It took me five days to build.”
Kezi also volunteers with the Student’s Union executive as the LGBT and liberation officer.
