A TEENAGER escaped with minor injuries after the car she was travelling in came off a Suffolk road and rolled on its side.

A TEENAGER escaped with minor injuries after the car she was travelling in came off a Suffolk road and rolled on its side.

The car was travelling along the A134 at Assington, near Sudbury, at around 11.50pm when the incident happened.

Two crews of firefighters from Sudbury and one from Nayland were called to the scene and helped the 18-year-old from the vehicle.

Paramedics found her conscious and breathing and took her to the West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds with minor injuries.
