A TEENAGER was injured today when his moped collided with a car in Chelmondiston.

A TEENAGER was injured today when his moped collided with a car in Chelmondiston.

The accident, which involved a white Suzuki motorbike and a silver Honda Civic, took place in Main Road outside Orwell Stores at around 8.40am.

The 16-year-old boy was thrown from his moped in the accident.

An ambulance service spokesman said the teen was taken to Ipswich hospital at 9.24am and was conscious and breathing.

His injuries are not thought to be serious.
