A TEENAGER was punched and robbed as he walked through an Ipswich park.

The 15-year-old was walking through Holywells Park, towards the Myrtle Road exit, about 1.05pm on Sunday when he was approached by three youths.

One of the youths grabbed him around the neck and he was then punched.

The victim's pockets were searched and an MP3 player and wallet were stolen from him.

He suffered cuts and bruises as a result of the attack.

All three offenders are described as white and about 17 to 18-years-old.

The first was of slim build, about 5ft 11in with dark blond short hair, he wore a dark blue short-sleeved top and dark blue tracksuit bottoms.

The second was of slim build, about 6ft 2in and wore dark blue jeans, a black t-shirt, a red hooded top tied around his waist and a cream coloured cap.

The third was of muscular build, about 6ft 1in and wore a dark blue hooded top with a silver band running around the middle, dark blue tracksuit bottoms, cream coloured trainers and a dark blue cap.
