A 13-year-old cyclist who was taken to hospital in a critical condition after a collision with a car in Rushmere St Andrew is now stable.
The teenage boy was flown by air ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital on Wednesday with life-threatening injuries.
Police were called at 6.55pm to reports of a collision between a cyclist and a silver Toyota Corolla in Chatsworth Drive.
A Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said the boy was now in a stable condition.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101 quoting CAD 421 of 1/7.
