A TEENAGER was arrested today as part of a joint operation into a spate of armed robberies, ram raids and ATM thefts in the region.The 17-year-old was arrested in a dawn raid on suspicion of robbery when police executed a warrant at an address in Stowmarket.

The 17-year-old was arrested in a dawn raid on suspicion of robbery when police executed a warrant at an address in Stowmarket.
The arrest is in connection with robberies at Wolsey Road Post Office in Stowmarket on March 7 and a convenience store in Colchester two days later.
The raid was carried out by officers involved in Operation Arctic, which was launched by forces in the region following a spate of robberies and thefts.
The teenager was being held at Colchester police station while police continue their investigations.
