Teenager robbed at knifepoint

A TEENAGER was threatened with a knife before his mobile phone was stolen.The robbery took place in Birkfield Drive, Ipswich at about 11.15pm on Tuesday.

A TEENAGER was threatened with a knife before his mobile phone was stolen.

The robbery took place in Birkfield Drive, Ipswich at about 11.15pm on Tuesday. A 16-year-old boy was walking home when he was approached by two men.

The first was white, about 6ft, of slim build and was wearing a black puffa jacket, black trousers, a hunting style hat and a bandana scarf with a white pattern on it, which covered his face.

One of the pair was on a black BMX while the other was on a mountain bike. After the attack, they cycled off towards the railway station.
