Teenager robbed in street attack

LOWESTOFT Police are appealing for information today after a 15-year-old boy was robbed in St Johns Road.

The teenager was walking towards Lowestoft Railway Station around 7.

LOWESTOFT Police are appealing for information today after a 15-year-old boy was robbed in St Johns Road.

The teenager was walking towards Lowestoft Railway Station around 7.30 last night and was close to Levington Court, at the north end of St Johns Road, when he was approached by two men wearing dark clothing. One of the two was wearing a dark coloured ski-hat.

They knocked him to the ground and took change from his pockets. The youngster suffered slight injuries to his head and chest.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident and are particularly keen to trace a man, described a white, of stocky build, with short cropped hair and wearing a light coloured shirt, who is believed to have intervened.
