AN inquest into how a Suffolk teenager drowned on holiday was due to be opened and adjourned at 2pm today.
Ashley Surtees, 17, of Walnut Tree Walk, Stowmarket, died in a hotel swimming pool on July 11 during a family holiday to Gran Canaria.
A police spokeswoman said the hearing, a paper exercise, would take place in Bury St Edmunds.
A full inquest will take place at a later date.
