Teenager taken to hospital following Kesgrave car crash

A teenage girl is in hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Kesgrave today.

Police were called to Foxhall Road, near the Bell Lane junction, around 11am to the collision between a Mini Cooper and Ford Transit van.

A female motorist in her late teens was taken to Ipswich Hospital, but her injuries are not believed to be serious.

The road was cleared by 11.30am.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said the motorist suffered neck pain not believed to be serious and was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
