A TEENAGER was threatened and robbed by a man in the early hours of the morning.

The 19-year-old man was walking along Portman Road towards Handford Road at about 3.20am on Thursday.

He was approached by a man who threatened him and demanded his belongings.

The victim placed a black JJB draw cord carrier bag which contained his Ben Sherman Union Jack style wallet, Samsung E250 mobile phone and a brown A5 notebook on the floor and ran away.

The offender is described as being white, about 5'10” tall, slim build and was wearing a dark-coloured hooded sweatshirt with the hood up covering his face, light blue jeans, white trainers and black woollen gloves.
