TWO teenagers have been remanded in custody after they appeared in court charged with robbery and theft.Nathan McGowan, 18, and a 16-year-old, both from north London, were arrested by police yesterday after a 21-year-old was robbed of £600 in Willoughby Road at 3pm.

Nathan McGowan, 18, and a 16-year-old, both from north London, were arrested by police yesterday after a 21-year-old was robbed of £600 in Willoughby Road at 3pm. There was also an alleged theft in Burrell Road.

They appeared at South East Suffolk Magistrates' Court today and have been remanded in custody until a preliminary hearing at Ipswich Crown Court on April 8.

The teenagers were arrested at Needham Market after a train was held by police at 3.40pm and were taken to Bury St Edmunds Police station.
