POLICE are today searching for two teenage girls who conned an elderly man into letting them into his home and then stole his wallet.The incident happened at about 5.30pm on Sunday.
POLICE are today searching for two teenage girls who conned an elderly man into letting them into his home and then stole his wallet.
The incident happened at about 5.30pm on Sunday in Mallard Way, Ipswich.
The two 15-year-old girls knocked on the door of the 78-year-old man's flat and told him they were looking for their aunty and asked him for a paper and pen.
When the victim became suspicious and asked them to leave they stole his wallet and fled.
The girls were described as 5ft 4ins tall, of Indian appearance, with straight shoulder length hair and both were wearing pattern shorts.
