POLICE are investigating today after two teenagers were attacked, one at knifepoint.At about 5.35pm on Sunday the 15-year-old victim was cycling home from a friend's house he became aware of a group of four males ahead of him in Stone Lodge Lane.

At about 5.35pm on Sunday the 15-year-old victim was cycling home from a friend's house he became aware of a group of four males ahead of him in Stone Lodge Lane.

Lisa Wilson, spokeswoman for Suffolk police, said: "When he got level with the group they turned round to look at him, one of the males demanded his bike from him, a second produced a knife from his pocket and pointed it at him, the victim pushed his bike to the group and ran off.

All four males were white and aged about 20.

The first was of slim build and about 5ft 10ins. He wore a hooded top and dark tracksuit bottoms.

The second man was around 6ft, of medium build. He wore a dark hooded top, blue tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

The third was described as 5ft4 and of medium build. He wore a light coloured hooded top, dark tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

The fourth was also of medium build, 5ft 4, with a dark hooded top and dark tracksuit bottoms.

Miss Wilson added: "This was a totally unprovoked robbery on an innocent victim who was left shaken by his ordeal.

We would appeal to anyone who might have been a witness, or recognises the descriptions, to get in touch with us."

In a separate incident, two men assaulted a 15-year-old boy and stole his fishing rod.

The attack happened at the Atlas Aggregates gravel pit off the A1214 in Kesgrave on Saturday afternoon.

One of the men struck up a conversation with the teenager while the second man walked off with one of the boy's fishing rods.

The first man then assaulted the boy and he fell to the ground. The man then ran off.

As the boy got up and tried to chased the men he heard a car being driven away from the parking area. He returned to his fishing spot and found the stolen rod laying damaged in the bushes.

The first man is described as white, in his late teens or early 20s, with short blond hair and prominent ears. He was about 5ft 7ins tall and of thin build and was wearing a light-coloured fleece top, blue jeans and white trainers.

The second man is also believed to be in his late teens or early 20s with short dark hair under a blue baseball cap. He wore a blue jacket and trousers and white trainers.
