TWO teenagers have denied murdering a newborn baby.
The 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy, both from Eye, were arrested in October after police received reports that a baby had died.
A post mortem examination revealed the baby suffered injuries prior to its death, on October 7.
The pair, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court yesterday accused of murdering their newborn child.
They also both denied a further charge relating to causing or allowing the death of a child.
Both defendants were given conditional bail until the trail, which will not occur until after July.
