Early cloud cover is set to break up and reveal clearer, brighter skies later today.
Temperatures will also improve, with forecasts predicting highs of 24C in our region by the afternoon, although some areas may experience brief rain showers.
The sunshine is expected to persist into the evening, seeing in a dry and warm night of at least 13C temperatures.
