Norfolk police were alerted to the find in Beeston Regis, near Sheringham, on Friday .
The area surrounding the find has been sealed off and specialist officers and a pathologist are investigating.
Police said the remains, found near Beeston Hall School, were being removed for post-mortem tests.
The discovery is being treated as an unexplained death.
