An Ipswich tot has taken his first steps to stardom in a national television advertising campaign.
Angelic-looking Oscar Lamb does what babies do best – getting mucky with food, paint and grass stains – in the new household cleaning product commercial being aired on ITV.
The blue-eyed, blond-haired boy appears on screens during the breaks on Good Morning Britain until the end of the year – seen by an average of more than a million viewers at a time.
One-year-old Oscar is the cherubic face of ACE Stain Remover, which promises to shift all kinds of gunk picked up on the clothes of playful youngsters.
He was chosen from three children by the production company for his blue eyes, long eyelashes, and his happy, relaxed demeanour.
Oscar’s mum, Louise Lamb said: “I was very proud Oscar was chosen to be the star of the ACE advert.
“He is such a happy boy – especially when eating – so he was perfect for the part.
“It’s amazing to be eating your breakfast and then to see Oscar pop up on screen.”
Oscar isn’t the only member of the family to appear in the locally-shot advert, which also includes a cameo from his two-year-old cousin, Grace Alderton.
