SIX fire crews were tackling a blaze today in an area of Thetford Forest close to the Suffolk-Norfolk border.Fire broke out at just before 2.40pm in a large area of undergrowth, near to the High Lodge visitor centre just off the A134 at Santon Downham.

Fire broke out at just before 2.40pm in a large area of undergrowth, near to the High Lodge visitor centre just off the A134 at Santon Downham.

At 4pm firefighters from Brandon and Thetford were still tackling the blaze which had spread to a young plantation of trees.
