Police investigating a triple stabbing in Ipswich have made a third arrest.
Officers were called just after 3.10am last Friday to reports of two men involved in a fight, surrounded by a group of people, at Cardinal Park.
Others got involved – some known to each other – and three people were stabbed.
All three were taken to hospital for treatment; one with minor injuries, and the other two with punctured lungs.
On Monday, police arrested a 21-year-old man, from Ipswich, on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, following arrests last week of a 21-year-old man, from the Colchester area, on suspicion of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm, and a 19-year-old Ipswich man on suspicion of affray.
Both have since been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
Anyone with information about the incident should call South CID at Landmark House on 101, quoting CAD 22 of October 6.
