A third man has been arrested in connection with a double stabbing in Ipswich on Sunday.
Police were called by the ambulance service at 10pm on Sunday, December 18, following reports of two seriously injured men on Foundation Street in Ipswich.
Both men were rushed to hospital in a critical condition.
One is now described as being in a critical but stable condition, the other is reported to be in a stable condition.
A 24-year-old man from Ipswich was arrested late on Monday, December 19, in connection with the stabbing and was taken into custody to be interviewed by detectives.
A 48-year-old man and a 57-year-old man, both from Ipswich, were arrested shortly after the incident in the early hours of Monday.
They have both been bailed to return to police on February 27.
The area around Foundation Street was closed to allow investigations to continue but has since reopened.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said: “We would like to thank the public for their continuing co-operation and patience during this time.”
