Children were able to step into the shoes of a farmer for a day and take a ride on a tractor during an event in Ipswich.
More than 5,000 people attended the third annual tractor fair at Suffolk Food Hall on Saturday against a picturesque backdrop of the River Orwell.
Farming machinery old and new was on display, there was live music throughout the day and children were able to enjoy tractor and pony rides.
Claire Cook, head of retail at Suffolk Food Hall, said: “It was very family-orientated. We had a lot of young families bringing their children, going on the rides, using the inflatables and sitting out for picnics listening to music. It was a traditional family day out. It had a really nice atmosphere.”
Suffolk Food Hall held a barbecue selling beef burgers made on site using its own Red Poll cows and more than 700 ice creams were sold to hungry customers.
