Emergency services swooped on a major Ipswich street following reports a teenager had jumped from a balcony during a drugs raid.
Police, paramedics and an air ambulance crew were spotted in St Matthew’s Street at around 5pm yesterday.
Officers attended an address in the same street around 30 minutes earlier, where an 18-year-old man from Ipswich and a 17-year-old boy from Essex were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of class A drugs.
Police later arrested a third teenager, a 16-year-old boy from Essex, following reports a man had been seen jumping from a balcony nearby.
He was taken to hospital with minor injuries but was later discharged.
Officers have since served a closure notice at the address – which prevents any person, other than the lawful occupant, to enter the premises. Anyone else who enters may be arrested.
All three of the men arrested in connection with the incident are currently in custody at the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre, where they are being questioned by officers.
