ONE woman was attacked with a broken bottle, another had chunks of hair pulled out and a 25-year-old man was attacked with a belt in an Ipswich nightclub this morning.

The violence began shortly before 1.45am when police were called to reports that a 22-year-old woman had been injured inside Liquid Nightclub, in Cardinal Park, by a broken bottle and was suffering with a gash to her forehead.

Police and paramedics arrived on the scene and immediately had to deal with a second incident where chunks of hair had been ripped out of a 21-year-old woman's head.

She had then been kicked in the face while lying on the ground and had suffered a swollen cheek and bruised arm.

Nobody was arrested but the woman described her attacker as a white female with short brown hair.

Shortly afterwards officers had to deal with a man who was being attacked by another man using his belt as a weapon.
