THREE people were today taken to Ipswich Hospital after an accident on the A12 at Foxhall.
The accident, which took place on the northbound-carriageway at 7.40pm, involved a red Ford Mondeo from Ipswich, a grey Seat Leon from Martlesham and a blue Mercedes from Ipswich.
A police spokesman said nobody was thought to be seriously injured.
He said both lanes were blocked as a result of the accident, but that the road was clear by shortly after 9pm.
