FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle three car fires in south east Ipswich overnight.
A crew from the fire service's headquarters attended Uxbridge Crescent at around 11.15pm yesterday to find two cars well alight. They used two hosereels to extinguish flames, which were out by 11.40pm.
At 1.30am a crew from Princes Street arrived at the scene on Mildmay Road, at the junction with Clapgate Lane, to find a pick up truck on fire. A hosereel was used and the fire was out by 2am.
All three fires are being treated as suspicious.
