Police are investigating after a man tried to encourage three girls to get into his car in Newry Avenue, Felixstowe on Sunday night.
The girls were walking down the road at around 8.30pm when a car drove beside them and the driver asked them to get in.
The driver then stopped the car, got out, and asked them again before driving off when they refused.
Officers are keen to identify the man who is described as white, around 5ft 8in tall, of medium build, with a tanned complexion and wearing a denim blue baseball cap and blue/black jeans.
He was driving a black hatchback with tinted rear windows, which could have been a Peugeot.
