THREE people have been taken to hospital following a collision on a Suffolk road today.
A green Volvo V40, a turquoise Toyota Carina and a blue Fiat Punto were involved in the incident, which happened on the A134 at Ingham, near Bury St Edmunds, at just before 7am.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident following reports of people being trapped in their vehicles.
All three drivers were taken to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury, with serious but not life threatening injuries, including broken bones and abdominal wounds.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said the road was closed in both directions and diversions were put in place for nearly two hours while the scene of the accident was cleared.
It was fully reopened at just before 8.45am.
