THREE people have been taken to hospital for treatment to injuries following two separate accidents on Suffolk's roads today.The first accident happened on Century Drive, Kesgrave, when three vehicles collided.

FOUR people were taken to hospital after they were injured in three separate accidents on Suffolk's roads today.

The first accident happened on the A14 just before 12.40am today. A man was trapped in his vehicle on the Felixstowe-bound carriageway just past the Orwell Bridge.

Three fire crews were called to the scene and they cut the injured man from the Peugeot 306 by 1.15am.

A police spokesman said the man was taken to Ipswich Hospital by ambulance for treatment to minor injuries.

The second accident happened on Century Drive, Kesgrave, when three vehicles collided.

A Mercedes car, a Vauxhall Corsa and a Himo motorbike collided at around 7.30am.

The motorbike rider was checked by paramedics at the scene while the two drivers were taken by ambulance to Ipswich Hospital.

Then at 8.45am a Volkswagen Golf and a Piaggio moped collided on The Street in Tuddenham St Martin.

The male moped rider was taken to Ipswich Hospital after complaining of back and chest pain.
