Three men injured in attacks

THREE men are recovering today after being taken to hospital following three separate attacks on Christmas Day.

The first took place in Edgar Avenue, Stowmarket, at around 12.

THREE men are recovering today after being taken to hospital following three separate attacks on Christmas Day.

The first took place in Edgar Avenue, Stowmarket, at around 12.12am. One man was taken to hospital after being assaulted. Initial reports suggested the man had been hit with an iron bar.

The second incident happened outside McDonald's in Tavern Street, Ipswich, at around 12.45am. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries believed to have been caused by an assault.

At 2.20am another man was taken to hospital after being attacked outside Kartouche night club, in Princes Street, Ipswich.
