Three vehicles were involved in a crash in Alan Road, in Ipswich, late this afternoon.

The accident happened at 4.45pm and involved a black Volvo XC90, a blue Nissan Qashqui and a white Ford Focus.

Emergency services attended the scene including two fire engines from the Ipswich East station and one from Princes Street as it was through some of the drivers were trapped.

However, the motorists suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
