Tickets are still available for the inaugural Ipswich Waterfront Lantern Walk on Friday evening.
The event, in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), will take in almost two miles of the town’s waterfront, with festive entertainment, a raffle and refreshments also on offer.
Georgia Memory, EACH Suffolk fundraising assistant, said: “We’re so excited to be helping our supporters get in the Christmas spirit with this event, which should be a really mesmerising sight.
“Families are guaranteed a lovely evening, with lots of opportunities to take photos and generally enjoy some time together.”
Tickets cost £12 and include a tealight and medal.
Family tickets cost £38 and those aged under three go free.
Registration is between 5.30pm and 6.30pm, with the walk starting at 6.45pm.
For more information and to book your place, visit www.each.org.uk before noon on Thursday, or arrive before 6pm on the night.
