There are still tickets available for a Suffolk charity's third neurological conference, which will hear from a former carer of Professor Stephen Hawking.
The event organised by Headway Suffolk will take place on October 4 at BT Labs, Adastral Park, Martlesham Heath.
Other speakers include Chris Graham, an Army veteran living with early-onset dementia at the age of 34; stroke consultant at Ipswich Hospital, Dr M Rahman Chowdhury; and Dr Tim Lockington, a consultant on movement disorders in east Suffolk.
Helen Fairweather, chief executive of Headway Suffolk, said: “We are very excited about our third conference. Once again, we have some excellent speakers.”
Professor Hawking, who has motor neurone disease, made a rare public appearance at the 2016 conference.
This year, Dr Jane Hawking, an author and educator, will explore family carer issues having looked after Professor Hawking during their 30-year marriage.
