Woodbridge Tide Mill Vice Chair steps down

A familiar face at Woodbridge’s Tide Mill has stepped down after five years as vice-chairman of its trustees.
Robert Spillett took up the position in 2013 shortly after the mill was restored thanks to a cash boost from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
As well as being a volunteer and trustee, Mr Spillett also sells and delivers most of the flour produced by the mill, a role he will continue after stepping down.
To mark his time and support of the mill, chairman of trustees John Carrington presented an engraved glass bowl to Mr Spillett.
Mr Carrington said: “The trustees are most grateful to Bob for his hard work and dedication to the mill, without which it would not be in the strong position it is today.
“The fight to keep this symbolic town attraction robust, functioning and solvent continues however and I’m delighted that Bob will remain a trustee and volunteer.”
