ANDREW Stannard is taking a well deserved break at the V2002 pop festival in Chelmsford today after being named as one of the top five A level students in the country.
The 18-year-old Westbourne High School pupil scooped 4 A grades in his A levels.
He got the top grade in Physics, Biology and Chemistry and achieved a Maths result that put him in the top five of the 5,000 students who took the exam nationwide.
His dad David, of Broadmere Road, Ipswich, said: "We are exceptionally proud of Andrew. He did so well".
Despite Andrew's undoubted hard work, there is some evidence that he might owe his dad something for his success, "Maths was my strongest subject at school too" David admitted.
