TIMOTHY Langdale QC has today been announced as the barrister who will represent Ipswich red-light killings suspect Steve Wright.Mr Langdale, of London law firm Cloth Fair Chambers, is most noted for his successful prosecution of Roy Whiting, the man responsible for the abduction and murder of eight-year-old Sarah Payne.
TIMOTHY Langdale QC has today been announced as the barrister who will represent Ipswich red-light killings suspect Steve Wright.
Mr Langdale, of London law firm Cloth Fair Chambers, is most noted for his successful prosecution of Roy Whiting, the man responsible for the abduction and murder of eight-year-old Sarah Payne.
He will represent Wright at Ipswich Crown Court tomorrow when the 49-year-old, of London Road, Ipswich, enters a plea.
He is accused of the murders of Tania Nicol, 19, Gemma Adams, 25, Anneli Alderton, 24, Paula Clennell, 24, and Annette Nicholls, 29.
