HE set himself the challenge of sitting on all 30,300 stadium seats this season.

And Ipswich Town’s mascot Crazee is set to celebrate success with the final furlong now in his sights.

With just 2,080 seats left to sit on and just one more home game to go, the kind-hearted horse looks set to complete his arduous charity challenge.

During recent matches, Crazee sat on 897 seats in the executive boxes at the Birmingham match and 2,000 seats during the Leicester City match.

During the season he has sat on seats while the Super Blues have been battling on the pitch against the likes of Blackpool, Peterborough and Reading.

During the team’s clash with Middlesborough, Crazee sat on the most seats, climbing around the Sir Bobby Robson and sitting on 2,477 seats.

All of the money raised will go towards Ipswich Town Football Club’s Charitable Trust’s disability football programme.

The scheme offers children, young people and adults with physical disabilities, learning difficulties or mental health issues, the same football opportunities as mainstream football players.
