IPSWICH Town has announced there are no plans to postpone Saturday's match against Leeds United in the wake of the red light murders.
The club's safety officer Mick Warden said he had spoken to the match commander at Suffolk police who had informed him the match could go ahead as planned.
Scores of officers are currently involved in one of the biggest man hunts the country has seen in decades, following the discovery of five prostitutes in Suffolk.
Mr Warden said: “They have enough police resources to cover the game.”
Meanwhile, discussions are ongoing at the club to decide on how a mark of respect should be made before the match.
