IPSWICH Town striker Danny Haynes has had his bail extended while investigations continue into an allegation of assault.
The 20-year-old Town star did not have to attend Ipswich police station today, as listed under his bail conditions, after it was extended via notification in the post to October 26.
Haynes was arrested by officers at the Blues' training ground on Friday, August 29, in connection with an alleged incident in the Purdis Farm area of the town.
He was questioned about the allegation and later released on police bail.
A spokesman for Ipswich Town said on the day of his arrest: “We are aware that one of our players is being questioned by police following an incident earlier today. The club has no further comment.”
